Women In Construction Week is March 5-11

Women In Construction Week, Roofers Local 153

Women in Construction Week™ (WIC), celebrates and promotes the role of women in the construction industry. NAWIC held the first WIC Week in 1998 and it has grown and expanded each year since. This year's theme, 'Many Paths, One Mission', celebrates the different journeys women have taken toward the same goal: strengthening and amplifying the success of women in the construction industry.

WIC Week is sponsored by the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC). With more than 115 chapters across the country, it offers its members education, support, and networking to help advance their careers in construction, build their technical skills, and become leaders.

All women working in construction are eligible for membership, including women builders in the trades, project management, marketing, administration, and executive leadership. Women in related industries who work in construction-related businesses, such as finance, legal, and other complementary industries, are welcome.

Construction firms of all sizes and types are encouraged to participate in WIC Week and show their support for their women employees. You can learn more and find several events on the WIC Week website HERE.
